The Trail Of Thoughts: The Pause Within The Rush

Image
Busy Road This rush that we live in, it is overwhelming. There are so many things I do, and most probably rush into- the courses I choose to study, the job I want to do, the general relationships, and so on. So much to do, so little time. Sometimes, I do a lot and I get little in return. So many people do things that I don't find sense in, but I decide to do it. “Let's do it as soon as possible because everyone else is doing it”. Giving into it all that I had, the returns I get are too little. I can't stay idle because, you know, time is money. Rushing through everything, giving all my all, worrying a lot about everything and not getting what I want in return. Not a pleasant journey. "What is success if I don't know what I should be doing to get it?" Reminding myself, that the problem is somewhere I can't afford to ignore. The problem is in not understanding myself. Should I invest into something if the returns are less, if I don't g...

The Trail Of Thoughts: Trapped Within Myself

Image
A Butterfly Sitting By The Window There are so many things I want to do, so many things that I want to experience. “How is it like to do that? It looks fun, it sounds like something I would love to do.” But then I don't try doing them. I find so many things stopping me from doing what I would want to do. There are so many people who I want to be around. They help me to become someone better. But then there can be people who do the opposite. I am supposed to still be around them. Why? Because maybe they will change. Who said trapping has to do with two people, one who traps and the other who gets trapped? Who needs two people for this when one is enough? I am trapped. Trapped in something I don't know. Trapped by something I don't know. Trapped to do things I don't want to. Trapped to not do things I would rather do. Time. Does it trap me? Time is money. I have things to attend to. I cannot give out moments for something else. Or, is it my...

The Trail Of Thoughts: This Fear In Me

Image
Stairs Leading To Who-Knows-Where This fear in me. Should I describe it to you? Well, you could find it relatable. It keeps me from doing things that I should, it keeps me from doing things that I want to. This fear is strange. Fear of not getting accepted. Fear that this happiness won't last. Fear, that people might leave and loneliness would engulf. Fear that everything will change in a snap of a finger. My fear sends me off to places I don't like. Sometimes, a minute failure is enough to make me want to crawl back into my shell. It is this shell that feels like my resort. This shell I know, is the most comfortable place that I can ever be at. I don't have to work hard. I don't have to cope up with troubles. I can give up on anything when I am inside that shell. My own comfort zone. Every place outside that is a challenge to be in. "Things can even worsen". Dark clouds of all negative feelings try to engulf me. Maybe things really wo...

The Trail Of Thoughts: From Your Jealousy To My Strength

Image
The human brain is so complex. How do all of us have the same structure of brains but still think so diversely? The same brain structures, and yet I might absolutely like something but someone else can hate it! A Portrait Of A Head Of A Human Being The human brain is the centre of all human emotions. Basic information. You know, just in case you thought it's the heart. All those emotions of happiness and sadness, and anger and hate and love, jealousy. It's all in your brain. While I name jealousy beside every other feeling, there's something interesting. This feeling of jealousy isn't a distinct feeling. Jealousy can actually encompass every emotion. What emotions you ask? Happiness, sadness, anger, hate, love, disappointment, self-loathing, and what not? You might feel happy doing something you love , and that might induce jealousy in me. This will make me hate you. Whenever you will try interacting with me politely, it may lead to scenarios...
