7 Lies We Come Across Online

| Person Tying On A Laptop |
A few days ago, we had discussed on here about how there are so many lies that we say, that are so common! But let us now consider the fact that we are surrounded by technology and a lot of our time goes into interacting with people we have never met, and probably will never meet, which further lets out possibilities of being lied to to our heart's content.
With all the lies that we say and hear online, let's surf through some of them!
1. I accept the Terms and Conditions- Spoiler alert: I didn't even read them. Basically, it can be translated to “Yeah, fine, whatever. Now get off my screen”. People accept it just because they have to to go on with their work, and if with all the advanced intelligence and everything, the internet thinks that the people aren't lying, I don't even know who to blame.
2. Those pictures that show everyone on social media having a life better than yours- Their pictures on the social media do surely depict that they are having a fabulous time while you struggle at finding your car keys every morning. Doesn't mean you are going to flood your pillow with tears for that. Because it is time to recall: All that glitters ain't gold. And social media is where only the glittery lies find a platform and not the sombre truth.
3. LOL- Ain't nobody laughing. Not that the other person doesn't know.
4. Your privacy is our priority- More of a joke than a lie. Not that anyone believes it anymore.
5. No-filter selfies- I can see. I can count the number of filters, too. Mostly, so can other people. If you get 5 shades lighter in half a day without any filters, there is something wrong with the mechanism of your skin.
6. Potentially anything regarding someone's personal information- Anything can be a lie. Everything can be a lie. And you will, most probably, never know about it.
7. "Sorry for taking so much time to respond to your mail. It somehow managed to get to the spam section”- People should straight up admit that they were lazy enough to keep away the mail for later.
So those were all the lies that we come across every now and then on the internet. Did you relate to them? Are there any more lies, that you know of, that are said online? Let me know in the comment section below! All feedback and suggestions are also welcome. You can send me emails here.
